The Bull Valley Roadhouse is the perfect place to gather with friends and family for special occasions—or for no particular reason. Dressing up? It’s elegant, infused with history and Victorian ambiance. Dressing down? It’s relaxed and comfortable. You can book a portion of the restaurant for your event or take over the whole place. For larger parties, we work with you to choose the menu in advance, and we serve all dishes family style. We supply enough food to satiate all appetites, and the chef will accommodate special dietary needs.

We can host parties of up to 100. Options include:

PATIO: Set under a canopy of walnut trees, our tiered brick patio is the perfect spot for smaller parties. In winter, the patio is enclosed to make a cozy haven; in summer,
it’s open to the warm river breezes. Accommodates 40–60 guests.

DINING ROOM & LODGE: Our Victorian dining room accommodates larger groups without losing warmth and intimacy for gatherings of close friends and family. We’ll arrange our tables and banquettes to suit your event. Wanting something more informal? Our spacious, woodsy lodge accommodates medium to large parties in a relaxed country setting with outdoor space available.

WHOLE ROADHOUSE: When you have grander plans, book the whole Roadhouse. Your guests can unwind with cocktails in the elegant Saloon before making their way to their dinner seats, and you’ll be transported to an earlier era. We can also book live music for your event. Accommodates up to 100 guests.

Can’t make it to Port Costa? We cater throughout the Bay Area, bringing our creative, locally sourced American fare to you. Whether you’re hosting a few guests or throwing a big party, everyone will be well-fed and taken care of—and you won’t have to worry about a thing except the menu. (And not even that if you want to turn the whole thing over to us.) Whatever you’re planning, talk to our events manager. We’ll give you options that are right for your event.
